Join our annual Book Scavenger Hunt for a season of bookish fun. 

 

How to Play:

1. Each Monday (from today) in December, we’ll post 6 new scavenger hunt prompts on our Facebook page, our website here, and on several Yelm Facebook pages.

2. Choose 4 prompts and find books from your own collection that match each one.

3. Take one photo of all four books you pick, together in one shot.

4. Email your photos to anovelbookstore@mac.com (in medium size)

5. Our panel of judges will select one winner each week of December. Winners will be announced on Saturdays.

6. Each winner receives a $25.00 gift certificate to A Novel Bookstore!

 

Additional Details:

• Prompts change weekly, so every round offers a new chance to enter — you can participate as often as you like.

• Entries must use books already on your personal shelves.

• Photos will be shared on our Facebook page, so follow along to see everyone’s finds!

This week (Dec 8-13)

Pick 4:

• Find a book whose title could be a spell or incantation.

• Find a book that "looks" (or is) the most like “the past.”

• Find a book written under a pseudonym.

• Find a book whose cover could double as wall art.

• Find a book with a celestial symbol (sun, moon, or stars) somewhere on the cover.

• Find a book that mentions tea, coffee, or another comforting winter beverage.
